Go Live Update Urls PRO
Change the domain on your site with one click.
Change your site’s domain with confidence.
Go Live Update Urls PRO takes all the guesswork out of changing your WordPress domain. Click a single button and this plugin updates every URL on any WordPress site, including yours.
Here are some features we think you will like.
Plugin Tables
Many WordPress plugins will create custom database tables and store serialized data inside of them. This can create a real problem when trying to replace a URL. Go Live Update Urls PRO is the only plugin on the market that is smart enough to detect this type of data and update it without any issues. This detection allows this plugin to update only what is needed and keep things impressively fast and lightweight. Update the data created by your plugins with confidence.
URL Testing
Before you make any changes to your site you can click a readily available button to test the new URL. This plugin goes through common mistakes and lets you know if there are any issues. If issues are found an option will be displayed to automatically fix issues for you. It also checks the new URL against your server to make sure everything is ready to go server-side. Catch issues before they happen with URL testing.
Site Address History
Once this plugin is activated, all changes you make to your site address via General Settings or Go Live, will be tracked and viewable. Not sure exactly what your old and new URL settings should be? No problem. With Site Address History, you can see exactly what they used to be and what they are now. A convenient "Use" button will automatically copy the URLs from history to the correct fields.
Predictive URLs
Updating the domain of your site just got easier with Predictive URLs. A commonly used workflow is to update the domain of your site using General Settings then head over to Go Live to change all the site content. Now this process is virtually one-click because the Old URL and New URL will automatically be filled out for you. Click submit and you are done. No more guessing and no more typos. Switching your site with this plugin used to take 30 seconds, now it takes 5.
Site Sections
Sometimes you only want to change the domain on a certain type of content. Sometimes you just want to know exactly what to expect when you click submit. Go Live Update Urls PRO organizes your content into intuitive and understandable sections. Simply uncheck the sections you don't want to update and they won't. If you prefer to see a full table list, there is a simple button which will show you everything. Counting and reporting works on both the section and the table views.

I needed to migrate my site from one domain to another one.
I did a brutal search and replace of the domain name in the DB, it just did not work. I lost all the configuration of the theme and other plugins making use of the domain name.
Go Live not only replaced the old domain with the new one, but also updated correctly all the serialized objects!

Wow! I had to switch my site from a temporary development domain to the live domain and am glad I found this plug-in. I used the Pro version and all I had to do was enter the old and new addresses and click a button. It finished so quickly I wondered if it had actually done anything, but was immediately able to use the new URL to get to the site and check it out — all was OK.
This was a one-time thing for me and I probably could have used the free version, but thought that the developers earned their money by making it so easy. Thanks, folks!

Remarkable. Went to the tools page. The domains were already filled out for me.

Works like a charm

Velvet Blues missed all of my gallery images. Go Live Update URLs got all of them. In the future I won’t use anything else.

I was recommended this plugin by Bluehost with my first site and I have now used it on more than 30 sites without a single issue.
I’m always nervous to hit the “big blue button” knowing that it changes my database directly. Each time in less than 10 seconds I get the success message and I feel better. Being nervous for no reason is a lot better than spending hours manually switching things over like I used to.

Works great! I tried other plugins and they didn’t complete the job. This one changed all URL’s in one sweep.

If I could, I’d give this plugin 6 stars because it is unbelievably good.
If you’re in need of changing your domain, then you should really try this plugin.
It works right out of the box with nothing complicated.
I have to say that i could have saved myself hours of trying other plugins if I would have found this one first.

This plugin did the job when it was run but does not change the links when new pages are added. Each time someone adds an old link to the content I have to run this again manually.

I’m sorry to hear the plugin did not work as expected for your.
While it sounds useful to have a plugin which automatically checks and updates content each time a post is saved, it is beyond the scope of what this plugin is intended for. Actually, there are probably a few plugins out there that do that kind of thing. This plugin’s purpose it to change everything in the database in one go when switching a site over, instead of an ongoing content monitoring.
Typically if you want a link replaced in content as you go, this may be done via a filter or using a redirect plugin. Please reach out to support and we will show you how to set this up.
